Wishes: Top View
How did I make this 3.5" x 8" card from Wishes?  I took my Gypsy card stock and scored lines -- here two lines are 1/4" apart and those pairs are 1/2" apart.  Then I flipped the paper over and lightly sanded the scored lines.  I sanded the edges a little too.  The witch was stamped in Grey Wool ink, cut out, and outlined with our 0.1 tip black legacy writers (there are 5 tip widths from 0.1 to 0.8).  Her socks were colored with Gypsy marker, and she is raised off of the card.  The "wicked" is from the free stamp set A Typeface, with the word "you're" added with the legacy writer.  The black hemp and mini-medley finished off the card as accents.

Switching to Doodles

I switched my blog name for several reasons.  The first being "makingpersonalimpressions.blogspot.com" was really long, not only to remember, but to say.  It was kind of embarassing even to mention it.  While I still feel it's important to make personal impressions, I wasn't making the right impression.

The second reason is for identification.  Ideally this blog would have been "danasdoodles.blogspot.com" but that was already taken (gosh darn that other Dana).  I then almost went with "stampdanastamp.blogspot.com" but was told that was also too long.  So my hubby came up with "dsdoodles."  "Ds" can stand for Dana Simone (-Kurtz) Doodles or Dana'S Doodles.  Either way it represents me.  And my website on the corporate website has also been changed; it is now ctmh.com/dsdoodles.

I'm not sure if I'm going to change my email address or not.  I probably should since the "dots" part of "dskdots" doesn't make a lot of sense to most people because they have no idea CTMH was once DOTS.  I'll have to ponder that notion a little longer.

So don't expect anything to change -- besides the name.  Please re-bookmark this blog and come enjoy the ride with me as I doodle!!
