Remarkable Wreath Workshop Breakdown

It's been awhile since the workshop and I thought I'd share with you the cards in more detail.

Spring

With Spring comes new growth and color.  Chantilly paper was perfect for this season and is accented with Sweet Leaf and Buttercup cardstock.  The Wreath was stamped with Sweet Leaf ink (leaves) and Cotton Candy (flowers and bow).  The card may look familiar if you look in the Wishes card program book on page 27 -- I've modified Lucky Layers.  Sparkles add a touch of whimsy.

Summer

The leaves have fallen off but there are plenty of flowers still around in summer.  This card features Sarita paper packet and accenting colors of Gypsy and Twilight.  The bow is Cotton Candy.  Make it from Your Heart Vol. 2 is where this pattern comes from and can be found as pattern #24.  Sparkles are added to, well, make it sparkle!

Autumn

Huntington paper packet brings out the colors of Autumn wonderfully.  The leaves of this wreath were made by sponge daubing three colors randomly -- Goldrush, Autumn Terracotta, and Barn Red.  Another Make it from Your Heart Vol. 2 pattern here -- #28 -- along with opals gives the card just the right look.  All papers were sponged with Barn Red ink.

Winter

Finally there is Winter.  Frosted paper packet and color combinations make this a soothingly warm card.  Notice the background circles?  Those were made from the new Stitch Guide (Z1852)!  I love that you can make circles, stars, chevrons, and more with this tool.  And where did this pattern come from?  Take a look at page 89 in the Autumn/Winter 2013 Idea Book and you will see a similar card.  I took that Make it from Your Heart Vol. 1 pattern #20 card and made it my own!
