I think the Workshop on the Go program from Close to my Heart is top notch. You get a complete paper packet, and accessory or two, an exclusive C-sized stamp set, and instructions for $29.95 (10% off retail value). Here is a video showing how you can bring your artwork up a notch using our CTMH Art Philosophy Cricut Cartridge. Enjoy!

National Stamping Month
September is National Stamping Month and Close to my Heart is already celebrating!
With the purchase of $75 (pre-tax and shipping) you will get -- not one stamp set, but a DOUBLE stamp set -- FREE! .You'll love this double set—two D-size sets in one envelope—which includes lots of clever phrases and coordinating images you'll use in your handmade cards all year long. The double set has a retail value of $35.90, and is available while supplies last or September 30, 2011.
Who wants to see more pictures?! I teamed up with five other consultants to bring each of the 12 images to life:
The Cricut was used for the "ribbon" on the "my treat" card.
The Cricut was used for the "stamp" or mat under the treat bag.
The Cricut was used for the snow flakes and the banner.
The branch and leaves were made with the Cricut
The Rainbow card base and B&T, and the saying cardstock from "follow your dreams" were cut out by the Cricut.
You can see some of the versatility the stamp set provides. What are you going to do with yours?!

Switching to Doodles
I switched my blog name for several reasons. The first being "makingpersonalimpressions.blogspot.com" was really long, not only to remember, but to say. It was kind of embarassing even to mention it. While I still feel it's important to make personal impressions, I wasn't making the right impression.
The second reason is for identification. Ideally this blog would have been "danasdoodles.blogspot.com" but that was already taken (gosh darn that other Dana). I then almost went with "stampdanastamp.blogspot.com" but was told that was also too long. So my hubby came up with "dsdoodles." "Ds" can stand for Dana Simone (-Kurtz) Doodles or Dana'S Doodles. Either way it represents me. And my website on the corporate website has also been changed; it is now ctmh.com/dsdoodles.
I'm not sure if I'm going to change my email address or not. I probably should since the "dots" part of "dskdots" doesn't make a lot of sense to most people because they have no idea CTMH was once DOTS. I'll have to ponder that notion a little longer.
So don't expect anything to change -- besides the name. Please re-bookmark this blog and come enjoy the ride with me as I doodle!!
