Versatility of Stamp Set Example

Sneak Peak!!

Sheila is having a gathering - a Girls' Night Out - coming up.  This is the card her guests will be making.

Do you like it?  I do.  : )

The flower and "congratulations" are from the Workshop Your Way Happy Congratulations Cardmaking Kit (G1125).  The paper is Sugar Rush (X7215B).  And the Bling is Sugar Rush Dots (Z3310).

The flower was stamped with Memento Ink (Z899) and then colored in with the watercolor pencils (3505).  The Memento ink was used because after coloring in the flower, the guests will use the Medium Brush (Z3225) to blend the pencils.  The ink won't bleed like the regular Black water-based ink (Z3271) would.  That ink was used for "congratulations".

What this card illustrates is that even when you buy a stamp set for one project (or in this case, the stamp set is part of the cardmaking kit), you can use the stamps again with other projects.  This makes the stamps more valuable.  So, if there is a stamp set you see in a kit that you like, go ahead and buy the kit.  You'll get some bonus cards and a great stamp set!

Welcome Home Succulent Wreath

Alright you guys...

I liked the picture of this month's Papercrafting Month wreath - Welcome Home.

I LOVE the actual put together wreath!!
The banner is blank because you can put whatever you'd like there!!  I haven't decided yet what I'm going to add.  The kit comes with Gold stickers with lots of letters (you can see corporate made "welcome" below!

You can purchase this wreath by itself for $18.95 plus tax and shipping.  You can also earn it free with a $60 purchase.

Recommended items to go with this kit:
Z1795  Quilling Tool
Z679    Liquid Glass
1772     Glue Dots (3/8" dots)
Z553    Bonding Memories Glue Pen - 0.34 fl oz/10 ml

In this short video you'll see the gal using the Bone Folder (Z1204) for the leaves.  I used (and prefer) the quilling tool instead.  If you add the Bone Folder to the above list, you'd be half way to earning your free kit.
