Versatility of Stamp Set Example
Sneak Peak!!
Sheila is having a gathering - a Girls' Night Out - coming up. This is the card her guests will be making.
Do you like it? I do. : )
The flower and "congratulations" are from the Workshop Your Way Happy Congratulations Cardmaking Kit (G1125). The paper is Sugar Rush (X7215B). And the Bling is Sugar Rush Dots (Z3310).
The flower was stamped with Memento Ink (Z899) and then colored in with the watercolor pencils (3505). The Memento ink was used because after coloring in the flower, the guests will use the Medium Brush (Z3225) to blend the pencils. The ink won't bleed like the regular Black water-based ink (Z3271) would. That ink was used for "congratulations".
What this card illustrates is that even when you buy a stamp set for one project (or in this case, the stamp set is part of the cardmaking kit), you can use the stamps again with other projects. This makes the stamps more valuable. So, if there is a stamp set you see in a kit that you like, go ahead and buy the kit. You'll get some bonus cards and a great stamp set!
